PHOTO GALLERY 8: Trek: CHINA (The Great Wall)

This gallery presents a selection of photographs from a challenge trek along the Great Wall of China, October 2016.*
The trek, the second of six, was undertaken in support of the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity. The initiative to do so was consequential to the death of my son Christopher, two years prior – all photographs are therefore subject to an interpretation, and coloured by having been taken at a time of immense grief. Hopefully, these photographs evidence the hope that can be gleaned from being witness to the immense wonder of place.
