Plate G5.no9: Water Tree – Loch Lomond (Scotland)

Trees clearly, should not grow on water. But then again, I’ve always been troubled by the argument that paper comes from trees, and that sand can become glass. If these things are true, then why should trees not grow from water? Fish can fly, the tides are controlled by the moon, an orchestra can be captured on inanimate vinyl – any impossible, is clearly possible. I like that – I love imaging the impossible, for as Picasso said: “Everything you imagine is real”.
