Plate G9.no1: The Rockies (Canada)*

Whilst travelling my modus operandi is to always know where I am – but not so when trekking. I forego that ocd demand, and allow myself to be taken, to wherever the trek begins – and then, just walk……
It’s rather pleasant to be honest, being cosseted from numerous decisions and responsibilities, to focus simply on one.
The downside of course is that one might not remember where one was, at the time of taking a photograph. Such is the case here – I was told the name of this mountain, and I’m pretty sure it was on Route 93, near what is known as the Iceline Trail.
It’s annoying me, because there was some significance in the name. Maybe Ill recall, one day, what this beautiful place was called……
