Plate G5.no11: Chilly Trees – Loch Lomond (Scotland)
This moment features in my LANDSCAPES Gallery, plate G2 no.5. It’s a slightly different take: notably, the horizon is horizontal, and the pictures been manipulated somewhat (and only lately), to appear chillier than in fact it was.
This wasn’t intentional – the manipulation was more of a trial and error type process – but, as there is no such thing as creative accident, I have to acknowledge there must be some other and/or additional interpretation than the one promoted in G2 no.5.
Was I colder then, than I was prepared to admit? Or am I colder now? I’d advocate the former. Despite the achievement of the day, as I look back – that whole period of my life? I was aching yet numb, and yes, I was desperately, cold……for warmth was vacant.
